Meet The Surgeon

Gary Neale, M.D., FACS, FASMBS*

Gary Neale, M.D., specializes in both general and bariatric surgery and is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. Neale earned his medical degree from University of Leicester Medical School, England. He completed residency at Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, surgical internship in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, California. He has travelled and worked in England, Scotland and Australia.

Dr. Neale is the Medical Director for the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Bariatric Program and performs surgeries at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and Regional Hospital of Scranton.
