Mark Cavaretta, M.D., FACS, FASMBS

With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Cavaretta specializes in bariatric, anti-reflux and general surgery. He is focused on helping patients achieve optimal health and well-being. His goal is to provide compassionate, high-quality, best evidence-based care through open communication and respect for his patients' unique concerns. He is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Brian Welch, D.O.

Brian Welch, D.O., is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in minimally-invasive laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. Dr. Welch also specializes in GI surgery.

He earned his medical degree at Touro University California, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Welch completed his general surgery residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center before completing a fellowship in minimally-invasive surgery at New York Medical College. He has achieved certification in general surgery from the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Welch has completed various medical research and presentations. In 2021, Dr. Welch received the Resident Achievement Award for Outstanding MIS Resident from The Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons.
