Meet The Surgeons

Matthew Tufts, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Matthew Tufts, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a general surgeon, board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has experience in a variety of surgical specialties, including advanced laparoscopic surgery, laparoscopic bariatric surgery and robotic surgery.

Dr. Tufts received his undergraduate degree at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, and his medical degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He completed his residency at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and he completed a fellowship in bariatrics and minimally invasive surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, an accredited center through the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).

Vincent Brown, M.D.

Vincent Brown, M.D., is a board-certified General Surgeon with experience in surgical specialties such as bariatric surgery, foregut surgery, and robotic general surgery. Dr. Brown received his medical degree at the Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies, followed by residency training at ECU Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. He then completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Jackson South Medical Center in Miami, Florida, accredited by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). He specializes in sleeve gastrectomy, hiatal hernia repair, gallbladder, small intestine, colon, hernia surgery, and gastrointestinal endoscopy amongst others. Please include in Request Appointment.
