Rick Mohammed, D.O.

Rick Mohammed, D.O., specializes in both general and bariatric surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Mohammed received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Glen Head, New York, where he graduated with honors among the top five percent of his class.

With over 9 years of experience, Dr. Mohammed has expertise in a variety of surgical specialties, including advanced laparoscopic surgery, laparoscopic bariatric surgery and robot-assisted surgery. He has a special interest in bariatric surgery, surgery for heartburn/reflux disease, minimally invasive hernia repair (Inguinal, Incisional, Umbilical and Hiatal) and complex abdominal wall reconstruction.

Dr. Mohammed is a Member of the Medical Staff at Santa Rosa Medical Center.
